Jeanette L. Gorgas, born on June 21, 1968, graduated with high honors from the London School of Economics with a Master of Science (MSc) in Management. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutger’s College School of Business and attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management and Women on Boards programs.
Jeanette L. Gorgas started her career as operations manager at Chubb Corporation in 1990, before she joined SBC Warburg in 1996 as a human resources manager and then Coutts (USA) Inc. as vice president and human resources advisor in 1997. Jeanette L. Gorgas also maintained various positions at Deutsche Bank from 1998 to 2010, most recently as managing director for global banking and markets.
Following her position as senior vice president and head of leadership development at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch in 2010, Jeanette L. Gorgas also served as senior associate dean for Yale University, leading all facets of the MBA program at Yale School of Management from 2011 to 2013.
From 2013 to 2015, Jeanette L. Gorgas held a position as senior director for strategic leadership at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, before joining Grant Thornton as chief strategy officer in 2015. There she was leading strategic planning, mergers & acquisition, knowledge management technology and corporate social responsibility. From 2019 to 2020, Jeannette L. Gorgas was chief human capital officer at Valor Equity Partners focusing on human capital solutions in portfolio operations and the human resources strategy within the fund. Since 2020, she works as an independent consultant.
