Berlin, 22 June 2018 - Delivery Hero Group ("Delivery Hero"), one of the leading global online food ordering and delivery marketplaces, announced today that it has sold its operations in Switzerland under the Foodarena brand to Takeaway.com.

The transaction price was not disclosed.

The sale of Foodarena will allow us to focus our efforts and resources in markets where we have clear leadership positions and longer growth opportunities."

The acquisition of the complementary Foodarena business will enhance our market position in Switzerland and is in line with our growth strategy to further expand our market leadership position on the continent."
